With the country on a path to recovery, it looks like the AMRA will be able to resume the 2020 racing season on June 27th-28th with the Summer Nationals at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After speaking with Dallas Jones, the owner of the track, his feeling is that things should be in order by the time our event is scheduled to be run.
Due to obvious financial impacts, Top Fuel will not be contested at this event. However, any Top Fuel teams that would like to use the weekend as a test session can do so with no AMRA fees.
Since we are all eager to get back on the track and kick the season into high gear, DOUBLE POINTS are going to be awarded at this event.
Look for continuing updates as the race draws closer and, until then, let's all take the necessary measures to keep us on the path to recovery.
